Hawaiian Sunset on a Friday Evening

I was in awe! I ran to grab my camera!  I could not ask for a better way to end my day.. than with a spectacular sun setting in the distance….and capturing this moment to share with all of you.

These are the moments when I stop…take a breath …and realize that I just took a moment to be grateful for the little things.

Fun With Photo Filters

I'm a fan of Microsoft Digital Image for creating collages, touching up sharpness in photos and so forth. I am not a professional photographer but I love to accompany my blog posts with nice pictures.  I mean, if I am going to write a post, I am going to accompany it with my OWN pictures.

Original Photo of my First Azalea Bloom

I have fun with the filters in this program .....and the following filtered photos are what came out of experimenting with that original photo of my first Azalea bloom.

Using the "plastic filter' for the Azalea....

Using the "metal" filter to the Azalea

Using the "watercolor" filter to the Azalea.

 

 Using the "pencil sketch" ....I call it "colorbook" ....filter to the Azalea.

Adding visuals to your blog post can be beneficial.

Creative and beautiful....

Especially if you created them yourself.
