There are things that each individual will connect with for inner strength. Those awesome niche's in ones inner being that tell them that they are 'all right'. The stillness to catch my breath in ever moving time and the objects that just may give me a reason to believe.
I find those wonderous things in a crashing wave and a rustling wind about my face. I find these things in the beauty of a bloom. Take time to reflect, to catch your breath and regroup if need be......and gain that strength to just move on.
Take a moment.....................

All those blooms are mine...over the last couple of years....the "loving embrace" was from my son. :)
Love the reminder! Wish I could enjoy catching my breath in Hawaii sometime :)
I try to take time from the hustle and bustle just to be. Take time to be where I am!
Best,
Diane
Oh yea Never forget where you are and who you are God Family Job.
Well, Sally, you are just a blogging machine! I just read one of your awesome posts and here you are with another AWESOME post! And, you're right--you do live in paradise! Gorgeous photos and I can't believe they were all yours--amazing climate you live in and you are constantly surrounded by God's beauty!
Have a fab Friday...
Very very nice, Sally, I've begun staring at the stars at night lying on my back - up in the Sierra Nevadas. When you see thousands of stars, it tends to put things in perspective. Great job!
Running a business is a lot like planting a garden. It takes faith and elbow grease.
Nice Sally, There is beauty all around us if we take but the time to look...
Helping you live your American dream...
Hi Sally, very beautiful flowers. I did need that little break before I start another day. Thank you!
Beautiful presentation Sally. Your flowers are spectacular - love orchids. Great start to a hectic day ahead. Thank you for the reminder and piece of your paradise.
Aloha Sally,
The slack key was relaxing. Mahalo!
Ohhh Sally. That is such a beautiful slide show. And the message .... could not be more on target.
Thanks for the boost today. It's gray, cloudy and probably going to rain but now I won't care. I'll just keep seeing your beautiful flowers in my mind.
Nice, very relaxing. If where one is living is not paradise, it is time to move!
THANK YOU for this gentle reminder of the gift of LIFE...and the joy of experiencing it...
Sally: Absolutely beautiful … I could feel the fresh air, ocean breeze and warmth of the sun while watching the video. It’s been years since I have been to the Islands … and yet I remember it all so vividly well. Thank you for sharing!!
I find those moments in nature for the most part as well. We all need to take a minute or two once and while to just stop and breathe.
I'm glad you all got a little boost and relaxing time from the show. Reflection can be an enlightening experience :)
Beautiful video and thoughts, Sally. I used to be one of those people who rushed through everything and I'm SO glad I've slowed down. I don't believe I realized what I was missing.
Carole: It's nice to take a step back ....reflect....and then take a bunch of steps forward! :)
Sally, beautiful job on the video, the words and the flowers were perfect for each other.
Thanks George! HUGS!
Sally,
What a beautiful slide show! That was exactly what I needed on a Friday evening! I can almost smell them too! I loved the way you conected the words with the photos too! It was a wonderful and relaxing experience! I am on my way back to watch it again!
Thank You,
Judy
HI Sally - Beautiful photos and a lovely video. Thanks so much for sharing it. We all need to take a little time to enjoy the beauty around us.
I agree. The old saying to "take time to stop and smell the roses" is sage advice in these times. We live with constant stress, and just looking around at nature is a wonderful way to see there's more to life than the hectic pace we all keep. Sometimes, I'll be going about my day, and just happen to catch a glimpse of the sky, which causes me to stop and look at the beautiful blue color, and the soft white clouds, then the green of the trees, the colors of the flowers, etc... it's instantly soothing =)
Thanks Sally. That was beautiful.
Sally, that you for these beautiful photos. Nice way to start off the day (ok, it's a bit of a late start)!
Sally - Very Nice Slide Show ... your photos and sentiments on each slide reflect the person we all know here on Active Rain. If the day ever comes when I get to Hawaii and meet you in person I know the person I meet will be a perfect reflection of the person I see here.
Sally,
We all need to "stop and smell the roses" so to speak. Life can get lost if we don't.
Sometimes I wonder where I am .. I know where I AM but I wonder where "I" am... does that make any sense?
Stopping to think, ponder a little, enjoy the beauty around us helps us know who "we" are.
Very Inspirational.......video fit perfect, not too much but just enough to share the message. Loved it my friend ;)
Thanks Kathy....made especially for friends like you :)
Sally, simply put "I LOVE this" and the great message this conveyed - thank you I needed that! ~Anne Marie
Sally - this was a lovely little escape! Very well done....thank you!
