I don't know about the rest of you, but I get a little personal with my transactions. For each and every transaction I pay attention to all those details that ensure that the transaction will go as smoothly as possible.
This past Friday I closed on a listing that involved many parties. The sellers, the relocation company, two agents on the buyers side, the home inspector, termite inspector, escrow officer, handyman, contractor and the list goes on.
In the end I received the best compliments that a real estate agent can receive. My clients said they appreciated all I had done and that they will surely refer others relocating to Hawaii to me. The relocation company added me to their top agents in the area for referrals.
And this one: The broker for the buyer's side (he was working with another agent on this transaction) called me to let me know that in his 38 years in the business he does not come across many agents who are ‘on it'. He commended me on my performance and thanked me for always being prompt with documents, answers and especially for answering my phone and returning calls.
Receiving compliments for a job well done is rewarding.
Getting downright tickled leaves a warm and fuzzy feeling......
For years to come.
You just got to love what you do.

Congratulation Sally! It's a great thing when transactions go smoothly; and behind every smooth transaction, there is a REALTOR who has to make sure it happens. Keep up the good work.
Congrats!! I am sure this made your day. Keep up the hard work!! Have a great week!
Sally - congratulations on the nice compliments that you received from all parties. And really all parties of the transaction are important connections. I recently closed on a transaction and she immediately referred a buyer, and we are in the process of looking for a home now!
Way to go SALLY !!!

Good for you! Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel, that's what inspired me to write the following a few weeks ago...

I absolutely love my job. It's so nice to hear other agents success stories! I wish you lots of luck! If I meet anyone along my way looking to relocate to Hawaii, I'll be sure to send them your way!
Happy Selling!

Sally, having a good transaction with Realtors in your area, is so important. They remember and if you are ever in a competing situation, then they will want to work with you. Congratulations, I had no doubt after following you here for years.
Congratulations - I think we all become 'attached' to our clients and transactions - it is such a long road from start to handing over the keys!
Missy: I think that made me realize just how important that is. It's also important to acknowledge others as well...which doesn't come to often. I always tell them (if deserving) a thank you as well.
Vienna: Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Hannah!
Sharon: It surely is a sign of a professional when compliments follow...as well as referrals :)
It's always nice to feel appreciated. I don't think most people know how difficult this industry is - especially these days! When someone actually acknowledges your hard work it makes it all worthwhile.
Way to go Sally.
Back when I was an agent, the highest compliment I got was the broker on the listing side trying to recruit me.
You gotta love it.
Lenn: Randy and I get cards, letters delivered to our office quite often. Wonder why? :)
Cari: That's what I was getting at....compliments from others are hard to come by. I do however, get many here :) :)
Sure did Lizette!
C Lloyd: YOu are forever a complimenter and I just bet...if I worked on the other side of you...both of us would be very pleased :) :)
Sally it is a great feeling when our clients appreciate what we did, and even better when the others involved in the transaction acknowledge it as well.
It certainly is a good feeling when you are appreciated for what you put your heart into. Congratulations, Sally, it make the deal doubly satisfying.
You're right. That's the best thing we can hear. I miss those days when we had happy clients so often. Our market has been frustrating for everyone involved, for a long time. It's 99% frustration for pretty much everyone involved =(
George: It sure is huh? It's not often but when it happens it sure is a nice feeling....with this one I got a triple whammy....it was triple good!
Jane: No kidding Jane...I'm tickled...still
Lisa: Turn it around :)
Congratulations are in order to you Sally! Great job!
Thank you very much for sharing.
Adam
Sally, kudos to you. I know you were professional because that's you. But isn't it nice when it's appreciated? =)
Hi Sally...Isn't it amazing that no matter how often it happens we get so happy when we are appreciated. It is certainly one of the best rewards in this business.
Kate
Sally, so glad to hear you got a "warm fuzzy" from this! You are the best! :o)
Sally - There are enough warm fuzzies here to keep you warm on a cold Canadian winter night ..... well done, well deserved
Sally well deserved compliment, it is true the more you give the more you get, I can just see those referrals coming your way.
Congrats on closing another one - and especially for being a Realtor that goes beyond expectations.
