Real Estate Personality- Do You Have What It Takes?

Oh, we will change like chameleons in an ever changing market of Real Estate. We often cross paths with like minded clients, peers and team players to our transactions.  Our personalities will click and everything will run smoothly. Others that we don't click with is just fine too...because  we ARE the heart of all things real estate.

We Have What It Takes.

We're peacemakers, negotiators, educators, listeners and give sound advice and direction for all things real estate. No matter what is going on in the transaction we keep a level head and there is no such thing as bantering and being a party to a house of ill repute.

Our reputation is the one thing that we base our business on and without an awesome reputation there will be nothing. We adapt and are adept in our knowledge in real estate and we have the skills to educate others. We are well trained individuals and build our business with a solid foundation;  including our ability to be personable with all on the team.

What we all have in common is the ability to mesh with all types of people.

This is Real Estate at its finest...

Do You Have What It Takes?

Celeste, You're describing a true professional in every sense. This is how we approach every client relationship and transaction. Very nice post!

I just love this little post. It speaks to the heart of the industry. I constantly strive to accomplish all those things. Sometimes I fall short but I always try try again.

Yes Sally, it really does take a certain personality to be a good real estate agent.  Remaining calm under stress, and being able to dig down to find the solutions to problems is what separates the best from the rest!

Sally - We sure are kind of a jack of all trades when it comes to the complexities of a real estate transaction especially this past year.  Each one is more difficult than the next and keeping a cool head and the virtue of patience is a must with everyone involved.

Hi Sally...I must because I still really, really enjoy it and have had my share of success.  I've met many others that have walked away not simply because they were not earning as much as they thought they would but because they really weren't excited about what they were doing.

Sally,

We do have to wear quite a few different hats.  One of my agents was playing marriage counselor the other day.

I think anyone in the service business needs to be this way.  We need to change at a moment's notice because we are dealing with different personalities and we need to be the one who holds everything together.

Sally, What an uplifting post.  You are of course so right.  We work with people of all personalities and persuasions. We need not only market knowledge but wisdom and above all Patience.

Maureen:  Well, you put up with me so that accounts for something lol

Jeff:  You can improvise....(You should know this by now :) and answer in respect for the loan officer. One thing is for certain though....we agents spend more time withe the client and therefore have to put on our best Sunday 'dress" for all.  You know what.....we all still love you :) :)

No kidding Jane....holding everything together is a darn good way to put it.

Hi Sally - You're so right. I think our job is part counselor, and in some transactions that is the major part of it.  Without an understanding of people of all types, this business would be impossible.

Larry:  I can listen to that sort ...but I definitely won't get on one side or the other... Even with my daughter's drama...nope, I will not be in the middle ...

Kate:  I know what you mean....the excitement for many wasn't there to begin with...gotta love what one does.

Donna: As alwsys..there are NO two transactions that are ever the same....and a learning leesson in each....

Vicki: Going above and beyond...or digging deep is in the nature of the real estate transaction...and always will be.

John:  Like the little engine that could, right?  You both look wonderfully happy!

Mickey and Lisa:  I thought I did a very simple and to the point post too.  Thanks!

Great post! If the rest of the world knew just how many different hats a true real estate professional wears they would have a whole lot more respect for all of you.
