It IS a good time to buy IF your situation calls for it. You have all your finances in order and you are contemplating the reasons you started thinking about owning your own home.
Over the past few months our Hawaii Homes Market decline in sales due to the very strict guidelines for loans. The good part is that if you are seriously considering Buying your Hawaii Home or Condo and you have good credit, realistic goals and a reasonable down payment you just may be on your way to Home Ownership.
A Hawaii VA Home Loan is the most likely the best candidate for Active Duty or Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. With 100% financing the Hawaii Military Relocation client definitely does not have a whole lot of money to put down. Just remember to ask your local lender what you need to obtain a PRE APPROVAL.
If your situation says that the time is right to own your own home then you most likely have your finances in order anyway. You will know if it's the right time and your most important priority is that you are looking for a place to raise your children and have control over the home you live in.
Is now the time for you to own your own home?
Prices are lower, interest rates are still at a reasonable rate......
A home you can call your own.

It would be nice to be stationed in Hawaii. Or maybe make sure it is my last posting and retire there.
Woo Hoo, I think anyone considering a home this year should take action sooner rather than later. If the Fed has to improve the value of the dollar which is getting pressure from Congress, the interests rates will be heading upward. Conditions are optimal right now and Buyers should be taking advantage while they can.
Sally - My Dad should have been in real estate....well, he actually was, just not licensed! He owned most of the street we grew up on in South Tampa and rented most of the homes to the military families from MacDill AFB. As I got older, he started selling them and holding the mortgage himself. I remember when I came back from Germany in the late 1980's he was holding mortgages at 18% interest.............I could hardly believe people werre willing to pay that high a rate! Boy, have I learned a lot since then!!!
Woo Hoo, I finally got one that had some color. I think this one is a HE, LOL.
Beautiful!!!
It's great to know that the government does make owning a home possible for active duty personnel...and that there is someone there (you) that can make that dream a reality!
