Leeward Community College is located at 96-045 Ala Ike - Pearl City, HI 96782 in Honolulu County on the island of Oahu. Hawaii is so diverse in culture so you can expect the same on college campuses too. With a caring faculty and affordability Leeward Community College has given high quality education since 1968.

Leeward Community College sits on 49 acres with over 6,000 students regularly enrolled every semeter to make it the largest community college in the state of Hawaii.
With liberal arts and career and technical educational programs offered on campus, at off-campus locations in the community, and through distance education courses it is no wonder that students flock from the Central Oahu area to attend the college.
(Both my son and daughter are starting up again next week at Leeward Community College)

Are you Relocating to Hawaii or in the Military Stationed in Hawaii on the Central, Leeward or West side of Oahu?
Do you want to continue your education?
Then, you just may want to look into what LCC has to offer and enroll at Leeward Community College.

Morning Sally,
Another great localism post. You sure do them up well. Very informative and well illistrated. Gosh, you put us to shame.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks Hal...thought I'd do something about the community college my daughter's been going to for a couple of years. My son got out of the Navy two years ago and finally go all his VA paperwork and other docs ready so both of them start next week. (so cute...they even have one class together lol)
Woo Hoo, What a wonderful topic for a Localism Post. Thanks for the reminder for here in San Diego with so many many wonderful schools for higher learning. Love what you did with the photos and you indeed put many of us to shame.
Sally, I think in this local post that it is tremedous that you have a link to the General Catalog. VERY HELPFUL!!
Sally, 49 Acres? Wow! I love the environment of community colleges. Great presentation with amazing pictures.
William: Thanks William! My kids are starting next week so thought I'd give their college a boost :)
Gary: I hope it'll help the rest of the community who are contemplating college.
Mana: Big one...the buildings shown in the pictures are the top....you go down to the bottom and it opens up to a huge bottom full of classes....I went for a couple classes there about 12 years ago :)
Sally, wonderful presentation and great information!
Now, I have a question for YOU? HOW did you do that paperclip frame?
Same program as with all the others ...Microsoft Digital Image Suite..thanks!
It will be great when they build the West Oahu campus. That will free up some facilities on the Leeward campus.
Randy: They started classes for West Oahu Campus already....Dori is taking a couple this semester...it's on the Leeward Campus and awaiting the Kapolei future campus :)

Sally, you always have the best localism posts. Is it you or is it Hawaii? Awwww, I think it is you.
Sally, I would have never thought about posting about my daughters college, it's lovely up there. I hope your son and daughter learn a lot and have a blast---college days are the BEST days.
Sally, love what you did with the pictures. Great layout and content. You are getting to be to good at this :) :)
Woo Hoo, I can back your latest post and found that there is not a new one. I think you did a great job on this one and I'll bet with some of the stories the kids could tell you, you do some more posts on this college. Good idea? Who knows, It might make you famous, :-)
Great promotion for the Community College. I am a great believer in the community college. It allows people to continue education close to home and while they are working full time if they want. Good job and as usual great photos.
I went to community college but never finished...maybe I need to go back...nah...I'm too tired:) I'm already planning my daughters ...and we paid for the four year program prepaid.
Sally, What a pretty and informational post! I love what you did with the photos! How did you do it? My daughter went to a Community College and then transferred her base credits to continue with her BA. The area looks beautiful...who would ever want to leave?
Later in the rain~Deb
Fred: I think it's both LOL!~
Carole: They went to buy their books on Friday and stopped by the office to see me ....they looked so cute .... kind of like when they were kids and walked to school together :)
George: Getting to be? lol! Thanks George.
William: I'm sure I'll have some stories :)
Paddy: It sure is a good thing...my daughter wants to be a Forensic Scientist (she watches too much court tv lol)
Neal: Yeah...same here.
Deb: Thanks for popping by....and I'll keep you all informed with their progress!
